ABOUT
Hi. I'm Liz Perkins, the farmer at Woolly Bear Farm.
WBF is a one-acre market garden in Cordova Bay, near Victoria BC. It was started in 2012 by Liz Perkins, a graduate of the Linnaea Ecological Gardening Program, and certified Permaculturalist. 2014 will be year 3 for this productive little farm.
WHAT IS A WOOLLY BEAR?
It's a caterpillar. It's super fuzzy, with black on either end and rusty-brown in the middle. It's latin name is Pyrrharctia isabella. It turns into a fiery-orange moth called the Isabella Tiger Moth.
